Ship your first application from a Claude chat

The terminal is now optional: a chat request becomes commits in your GitHub and a live application. The terminal is now optional: a chat request becomes commits in your GitHub and a live application.

Most people who need a small application are not developers. A booking page for the meeting rooms, a form that collects sign-ups, a little tool that tracks requests. Until now, building one on Syntica meant installing a coding agent in a terminal, which is a developer's tool with a developer's learning curve.

That requirement is gone. Syntica now connects to Claude, the AI assistant at claude.ai, so a plain conversation in your browser can create an application, change it and put it on the internet. If you can write a chat message, you can ship an application.

What you need

  • A Claude account that can add connectors (Claude's paid plans can, at claude.ai or in the desktop app).

  • A GitHub account, and nothing more than the account itself. GitHub is simply the place where your application's files are kept, safely and in your own name. You never have to open it, learn it or touch anything in it, and Claude handles everything that happens there. If you don't have one, creating it at github.com takes a minute and is free.

  • A Syntica spot. We are in closed beta, so if you don't have access yet, the waitlist at the end of this post is the way in.

Your first application, step by step

  1. In Claude, open Settings, go to Connectors and add a custom connector with the URL app.syntica.io/mcp.

  2. Sign in with your email and a one-time code, and pick your workspace. New to Syntica? The same screen creates your account.

  3. Ask Claude to connect your GitHub account and approve the link it gives you. GitHub is where your application's files are kept, in an account that belongs to you, not to us.

  4. Say what you want: "create an app called room-bookings from the empty template and put it live". A few minutes later Claude hands you a working web address.

That last step really is the whole thing. A fresh application goes from nothing at all to a live page in about three and a half minutes, and the address works for anyone you send it to.

Changing it is the same conversation

"Make the button pink." "Add a field for the department." "Show the newest entries first." Every change you ask for is saved as its own version in your GitHub account, so you can always see what changed and undo anything. And changing is not the same as publishing: the live application only updates when you say deploy, so nothing goes out by accident.

What can you build this way?

The sweet spot is the small, specific application every team needs and nobody buys software for. Real examples of the shape we mean:

  • A booking page for the meeting rooms, with an overview of who has what.

  • A sign-up form for an event that stores the entries and shows them on a simple admin page.

  • A request tracker where colleagues submit something, and you approve it and see the history.

  • A small internal dashboard that shows the numbers you now keep in a spreadsheet.

Each of those is a conversation of maybe ten messages, not a project. You describe it, look at what came out, and keep correcting in plain language until it is right. The applications run in their own isolated environment in the EU, and your team can sign in to see them.

Still in closed beta

Syntica is in closed beta while we grow capacity carefully. The free tier is a real environment with a real address and no card, and pricing beyond it is based on what you actually run, never per message or per token. Join the waitlist at the end of this page and we will email you the moment your spot opens. If you already have access, the setup guide walks through the steps above in a couple of minutes.

And if you do live in a terminal, nothing changes for you: Claude Code and the other coding agents keep working exactly as before, against the same applications.
