This policy explains what data Syntica (“we”) collects when you use our website and hosting service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain language.
Account data: your name, email address, and organization when you sign up.
Billing data: handled by our payment processor. We store only the last four digits and billing metadata.
Usage data: deploy logs, resource metrics, and request volumes needed to run and bill your apps.
Contact data: anything you send us through the contact form or support email.
We use your data to operate the service, deploy and monitor your apps, bill accurately, provide support, and send essential service notices. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your application code or content to train models.
Your repositories and application data belong to you. The repository can be cloned or mirrored at any time without asking us: it is ordinary git. A packaged export, with a secrets manifest and a runbook, is in development. Secrets themselves are write-only and are never returned by any interface, so they cannot be exported today. You can delete an app at any time: its data is removed from active systems within 30 days, and backups age out on their retention schedule.
We rely on a small set of infrastructure and payment providers to deliver the service. We require each to protect your data to standards at least as strict as our own, and we keep a current list available on request.
For the personal data in the applications you build and run on Syntica, you are the data controller under the GDPR and Syntica is the data processor, acting only on your instructions. For the account, billing and support data described above, Syntica is the controller. All of it is processed within the EU: see our Security page for where. A Data Processing Agreement is in development. If your organisation needs one in place before it ships, email privacy@syntica.io and we will work through it with you directly.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email privacy@syntica.io and we’ll respond within 30 days.
